Giani Pinderpal Singh was born in village of Tharva Majra in the district of Karnal in Haryana on July 1966. His father, Bhai Hardyal Singh and mother Bibi Balbir Kaur originate from Sialkot District from Pakistan. They migrated to Western Punjab after the partition of Indian and Pakistan. Currently Bhai Pinderpal Singh lives in Ludhiana with his wife, children and parents.

Giani Pinderpal Singh travels actively across Punjab and throughout the World countries on Gurmat Parchar tours. He does not affiliate with any specific organization and mostly travels individually as a katha vachak to promote Gurmat at different Gurdwaras. He is widely renowned by the Sikh Sangat living in different parts of the world for his influential ability.
Number of recordings have been made of Giani Pinderpal Singh on various subjects, including Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Ardas, Kesh, Baba Budha Ji, Sikh Martyrs and other. These recordings have been made available to Sikh Sangat free of cost on different Sikh multimedia websites, including kathaa.net.
Katha Style
Giani Pinderpal Singh's katha style resembles the one of Giani Mann Singh Jhor, another great Katha Vachak that mysteriously disappeared from the streets of New Delhi. However, one notable aspect of Giani Pinderpal Singh's katha is his personal adherence to Gurmat principals. He is strict about his rehit and nitnem and can often be seen taking part in different services at the Gurdwara Sahibs. He seldom eats at people's house as a part to upkeep his personal rehit. However he is very respectful of all regardless of their level in Sikhi and can be seen addressing and talking to different people with respect after his katha.
Bhai Pinderpal Singh has a lot of Gurbani memorized from Guru Granth Sahib and Dasam Granth Sahib, along with vaars/kabits of Bhai Gurdas Ji, Gazals of Goya Bhai Nand Singh (Lal). Focus of Giani Pinderpal Singh during his discourses remains to take examples only from Gurbani and Panth approved resources and not from his personal experiences. He however presents respect to different Gursikhs and does quote from their lives at times.
Core Gurmat Beliefs
Another appreciated aspect of his katha is that even though he is adamant about spreading Gurmat, he is not critical of others. He however has been involved in pointing out mistakes of Gurdwara Committees and refusing to attend certain Gurdwaras become of absence of maryada. Giani Pinderpal Singh often tours California and especially the Central Valley but has refused to perform katha there because several Gurdwaras fail to abide by mandates of Akal Takhat Sahib.
One Gurdwara based in Selma has just been able to schedule his katha but Giani Pinderpal Singh has refused to perform parchar there because of practices such as cooking of meat that takes place here is against Akal Takhat Sahib Maryada. Furthermore, this Gurdwara Sahib, Gurdwara Kaldighar Sahib, has kept strong alliance with anti-Sikh personalities, including Gurbaksh Singh Kala Afghana and Prof. Darshan Singh. With the recent touring of Prof. Darshan Singh at this Gurdwara, it will be interesting to note of GIani Pinderpal Singh will continue to tour there.
